(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) New York, NY - September 26, 2011 - Recyclebank®, the company that rewards people for taking everyday green actions with discounts and deals from local and national businesses, today announced its Chief Revenue Officer Samantha Skey will moderate a panel on Facebook and the blurred lines between earned and paid media on September 27 at OMMA Global New York. The semi-annual conference gathers leading-edge practitioners and experts in the interactive marketing revolution to explore the dynamic nature of communications.

In the panel discussion, “Facebook & The Intersection of Earned and Paid Media,” Skey will lead a conversation among panelists from Offerpop, Attention, Mediabrands, LM&O Advertising and Morpheus Media on how digital marketers can effectively use Facebook across both earned and paid media to drive measurable results. With Facebook’s evolving advertising opportunities, such as its Sponsored Stories, blurring the lines between media channels, the panel will provide a state of the union on how digital marketers, agencies and technologies are responding with solutions that help brands monetize ads and amplify compelling messages.

Skey is a frequent speaker at digital marketing events, including numerous previous OMMA conferences. Beginning her digital career in 1994 by starting Interactive Imaginations’ award-winning Riddler, one of the web’s first real-time, multi-player, reward-based gaming sites, Skey works with Recyclebank brand partners such as AVEENO®, Coca-Cola® and Macy’s to create marketing campaigns that engage and inspire consumers around sustainable action. Since joining the company in 2010, Skey has also played an essential role in guiding the expansion of Recyclebank’s digital platform and online rewards programs. Prior to Recyclebank, she has held various strategic digital development roles at Walt Disney Company, CNET, Alloy Inc. and Passenger Inc.
