Recyclebank Launches the Green Your School Year Challenge

Learn eco-friendly school year tips, make green pledges and take interactive challenges for a chance to win over 100 prizes

The Challenge, which runs from today until September 30, sets Recyclebank members on an interactive school year journey with opportunities to earn points along the way. The Challenge’s highest scorers and those who have referred the most friends have a chance to win more than 100 prizes, including a grand prize package valued at $7,500 designed to green all elements of the school year: a $2,500 Macy’s gift card, a $2,500 Bodhi electric bicycle, a $2,500 local grocer gift card from Ziploc® and a NOOK Color™ eReader. This Challenge is another step in Recyclebank’s goal of encouraging as many people as possible to make their lifestyles greener.

As the Challenge progresses, Recyclebank will reveal three stages of the school year—back-to-school school shopping, the first day of school and after school activities. Through each stage of the journey, participants take interactive quizzes, make pledges and learn eco-friendly tips relevant to the current theme. For each challenge completed, pledge promised or friend referred, participants earn points towards their overall score. These points can also be redeemed for discounts and deals from Recyclebank’s extensive reward partners.
