On Wednesday, May 2, PepsiCo volunteers teamed up with Feed the Children to deliver three tractor-trailers full of food and essentials to 3,000 families in Los Angeles. Each family received a 25-pound box of food, a 10-pound box of personal care items, and a box of Avon products. The boxes were designed to help a family of four for up to one week.

“Working with Feed the Children is a great example of Performance with Purpose and just one of many ways PepsiCo serves our local communities,” said Richard Montanez, director, Marketing - PepsiCo Americas Beverages. “Feed the Children is a unique organization that delivers with dignity and we are proud to be their supporters and partners.”

More than one in four children living in Los Angeles is considered impoverished; there are more than two million children in California living in poverty.
