Becky House, senior vice president and chief people and legal officer at Rockwell Automation, has been instrumental in helping to reevaluate and shape how the company supports working parents during the pandemic.

In a recent interview with WTMJ-4 News, Milwaukee’s NBC affiliate, House said Rockwell made it a priority to ease burdens for working families during the pandemic.

Rockwell added a number of permanent family support benefits, including resources for tutoring and babysitting as well as access to back-up care for children, adults, and elder family members. Rockwell also established a new employee resource group dedicated to supporting parents and caretakers.

Those efforts have paid off, House told the interviewer. “Having an engaged and productive workforce drives our company strategy, helps us make a difference for our communities and customers, and that all hinges on our people,” she said.
