Schools across the country submitted green project proposals to Recyclebank in order to participate in the Green Schools program. Recyclebank members donated their points to help fund the schools’ projects, and Recyclebank matched member point donations dollar-for-dollar. A critical program partner is Coca-Cola Live Positively, who helped schools across the U.S. meet their target grant goal and make their green project ideas a reality.

It is associated with the My Republic Rewards, powered by Recyclebank program  -- a partnership between the City of Toledo, Republic Services and Recyclebank that allows residents with City-provided recycling collection to earn points for the amount they recycle and reduce trash.
