Marcone Employees & Customers Raise Donations & Good Cheer
Marcone branches throughout the U.S. host charity drives to serve their communities
Managers, employees, and customers alike came together at Marcone locations throughout the country to make the holidays a little brighter for folks in their communities. Check out some of the charity drives that happened recently…and if you shop at one of these locations, be sure to give the employees there a high-five for spreading the holiday spirit.
Albany, NY Store & Warehouse: Lead by branch manager Heather Wilber and interim warehouse manager Brian Wood, Albany raised more than $375 in donations from employees. This money was spent buying 25 gifts for a local single mother with three small children. Heather and Brian delivered the wrapped presents this week.
Tampa, FL Call Center: Lead by call center manager Maria Fernandez, the employees of this location donated and collected tons of toys, cleaning supplies, and clothes to help sick children and their families. All donations were given to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay.
Camp Hill, PA Store: Lead by branch manager Rebecca Kinsey, Camp Hill employees and customers collected food The Bridge Food Pantry, which serves New Cumberland, Camp Hill, and Lemoyne.
Malden, MA Store: Lead by branch manager Luisa Goncalves, employees and customers collected food for the Bread of Life Food Pantry of Malden.
Peoria, IL Store: Lead by branch manager David Sweet, employees and customers collected food for the St. Joseph Food Pantry in Pekin.
Nashville, TN Store: Lead by branch manager Donnie Brooks with special help from customers AAA Appliance and Crowder Appliance, the Nashville branch had yet another successful holiday toy drive. This year, they collected more than 40 toys for their local Toys for Tots program.
