PepsiCo Mexico's Mafer brand, the leading nuts and seeds brand in the country, recently organized a seminar on the functional benefits of peanuts, in partnership with the American Peanut Council (APC) and Iberoamerican University.

The seminar gave a holistic overview of peanuts as part of healthy living. Experts covered the subject from diverse perspectives going through the history of peanuts, their nutrition profile and functional benefits, gastronomic appliance and industry R&D challenges. Alejandra Rullan, director, Nutrition - PepsiCo Mexico Foods and Beverages, spoke about Mafer brand products and PepsiCo's commitment to Human Sustainability.
