Plenary Session 7
Increasing and Capitalizing on Supply Chain Diversity

Featuring:
Wendy Cukier,
Associate Dean, Ted Rogers School of Management

Most experts agree that diversity offers a distinct strategic advantage in a competitive, global marketplace. Given the close ties between organizations and their complex networks of suppliers globally, assessing and optimizing one’s supply chain partners’ diversity is a logical extension of a diversity and inclusiveness strategy.

Such an approach may seem like a stretch to some, but diversity pioneers recognize it as an opportunity to increase the link between diversity and overall business performance. Wendy Cukier will discuss these issues and the results of Ryerson’s recent research on supply chain diversity.
