Historic Theatre Enriches Knoxville Community

In my nearly 20 years working for Scripps Networks Interactive, Scripps has been closely involved in the community through corporate sponsorships of local events and organizations and providing opportunities for employees to volunteer together. Scripps also encourages it employees to seek out volunteer opportunities independently. For several years, I have served on the board of the Historic Tennessee Theatre Foundation, a nonprofit charged with preserving the historic Tennessee Theatre on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville and ensuring its continued presence in the community.
