C5 company, a leader in sustainable jewelry, has created a promotional pendant for Under the Baobab Tree (UTBT), an international nonprofit organization that provides education and other critical services in Malawi.

With the $100 purchase you receive the ethically made pendant of the UTBT logo, handmade recycled paper giftbox and a personal story about one of the children who will receive free education because of your contribution.

Malawi is one of the most impoverished countries on earth. HIV/AIDS has ravaged the country and the mining industry has had devastating social and environmental impacts. Under the Baobab Tree offers free education for all children in Namaso Bay where it is also working to provide healthcare, improve the water system, and create economic opportunities.

"We are really proud to be partnering with UTBT in raising awareness and funds for the people of Malawi. Contributing to positive economic development in Africa is indeed one of our primary missions as a sustainable jewelry company," said Meghan Connolly Haupt, C5 company founder and principal.
