Financial Literacy Month at Oportun

Apr 20, 2022 11:00 AM ET

April is Financial Literacy Month and it serves as an opportunity for all of us to evaluate our personal finances and implement tools and tips that can help us improve them. This could not be timelier as many hardworking families are struggling with the effects of the rise of inflation. In fact, a January 2022 study by Bankrate found that more than half of all Americans do not have enough savings to cover an unplanned expense of $1,000.

At Oportun we are committed to providing our members with affordable and inclusive financial services that aim to help our hardworking members achieve financial health and meet their daily borrowing, savings, banking, and investing needs.

As part of our Financial Literacy Month celebrations, we will be sharing a series of blogs that can help you or someone you know in their journey to achieve their financial goals.
