Cause Integration Profiles Bring Transparency To Companies That Do Good

Jun 2, 2011 10:00 AM ET

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed)  Los Angeles, Calif. - June 2, 2011 - Causecast, the premier cause integration platform for nonprofits and brands, today launched the public beta of Cause Integration Profiles and announced a partnership with Corporate Responsibility Magazine to promote and syndicate the listings of socially responsible companies.

Cause Integration Profiles are open to any company interested in enhancing the visibility of their corporate social responsibility initiatives, the causes they support and the grants offered by their foundations. In addition to being showcased in a directory on the Causecast website, the data is also available for syndication via real-time data feeds to employment databases and other corporate information distribution partners.

Through its partnership with CR Magazine, the database will feature companies that appear on its “100 Best Corporate Citizens List” and CR Magazine will make the product available to its advertisers and work with the Corporate Responsibiliby Officers Association (CROA) to make this available to its member companies. The listings will also be presented in widget form on the CR Magazine website.

The product provides companies that have integrated cause into their organizations with a unique way to showcase their CSR initiatives. For consumers and prospective employees, Cause Integration Profiles provide better visibility into the companies with whom they are considering working for and buying from.

A “Cause Integration Scorecard” conveys whether a company currently offers employee volunteer programs, sustainability initiatives and corporate donation matching programs. In addition, companies may add RSS news feeds, examples of recent cause marketing campaigns and links to organizations with whom they are affiliated.

“Research has shown that employees want to work for companies that care, and consumers are more likely to purchase from brands that give back,” said Ryan Scott, CEO and founder of Causecast. “Our Cause Integration Profiles give companies a way to showcase their efforts and provide consumers with a free, transparent resource to find information about any company’s cause marketing and CSR initiatives.”

"For over a decade CR Magazine and the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List have set the bar for corporate responsibility and transparency," said Richard Crespin, President of SharedXpertise the publishers of CR Magazine. "Our partnership with Causecast puts one more tool in the hands of stakeholders -- investors, employees, customers, and communities -- as they value companies as investments, employers, suppliers, and neighbors."

Companies may build an enhanced profile for free during the beta period. Causecast will showcase the new Cause Integration Profiles at the Cause Marketing Forum in Chicago today. To apply, visit To become a distribution partner, contact
