Virtual worlds are being used by organizations to reduce costs, improve performance, and accelerate learning. Using the example of training at Canada Border Services, Ken Hudson will discuss some principles of virtual world design, and the success factors of this training pilot project. He will also describe some of the obstacles that had to be overcome, and the process of moving from a pilot to broader implementation.
