We Wear Fair Trade 2019

Fair Trade fashion is for everyone. That’s the message behind the We Wear Fair Trade Campaign and first-of-its-kind lookbook featuring clothing made exclusively in Fair Trade Certified factories. Styled by Rachael Wang and modeled by advocates representing a variety of causes, this lookbook provides a multi-faceted perspective about what fair trade fashion looks like, not only by people who wear it, but also by people who make it, whose lives and communities are impacted by its purchase. Fair Trade Certified™ apparel was launched in 2011 with early adoption by several brands committed to setting a positive example for the entire industry, including prAna, PACT, and Patagonia. Now, clothing made in Fair Trade Certified factories is offered by a variety of brands including J.Crew and Madewell, Athleta, Obey, and Outerknown, with more companies joining the program every year.
