P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water

P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) is a signature program within P&G’s philanthropic health and hygiene efforts. Founded by Dr. Greg Allgood in 2004, the program works with a diverse network of organizations to raise awareness of the clean water crisis and to provide clean water to people in need. As the inventor and producer of the water purification packets used in the program, P&G provides both its technical expertise and financial support for this work, in addition to human resources, manufacturing facilities, research and advocacy for this global issue. To date, P&G has invested over $50 million toward clean drinking water, and CSDW has delivered over 6 billion liters of clean drinking water. Our new goal is to save one life every hour by delivering more than 2 billion liters of clean drinking water every year by 2020.
