Ingersoll Rand Third-Party Recognition

Kristen Actis-Grande, vice president, finance for Ingersoll Rand’s Residential HVAC and Supply business was recognized as one of 130 recipients of The Manufacturing Institute’s 2017 Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Award. The STEP Ahead Awards recognize women who demonstrate excellence and leadership in their careers and represent all levels of manufacturing, from the factory-floor to the C-suite.

In the Business Roundtable’s recent annual report – titled “Create, Grow, Sustain: Delivering Shared Success” – Michael W. Lamach, chairman and chief executive officer of Ingersoll Rand, offered insight into the company’s approach to sustainability and the ways in which collaboration is used to build and share success. In the report he says:

In the past year, Ingersoll Rand increased its CEI score from 90 percent to 100 percent.

The annual Global Climate Change Report from CDP awarded Ingersoll Rand (NYSE:IR), a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, leadership status with a final letter grade of A-. The report and grading award is based on analysis of the current state of corporate climate action.

Ingersoll Rand has been named to the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability World and North America Indices for a sixth consecutive year. Continued placement on this index series showcases the company’s position as an economic, environmental and social leader among peer companies.

Ingersoll Rand is recognized on Green Builder Magazine’s annual list of Eco-Leaders for a second consecutive year. The honor highlights a number of key attributes that differentiate Ingersoll Rand’s approach to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Ingersoll Rand is again listed on the FTSE4Good Index Series, which measures the performance of companies demonstrating strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.
