Commitment to Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves

On September 21, 2011 Dow Corning announced a five-year, $5 million commitment to the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves - a public-private partnership led by the United Nations Foundation to create a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions.

We commit technical, human and financial resources as we work with the Alliance to improve the quality of stoves, as well as how to lower the cost of production to make them more affordable to families.
