Call for Nominations: American Cancer Society 2012 Nationwide Corporate Impact Award Series

(3BL Media) June 26, 2012 - The American Cancer Society is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 Corporate Impact Award Series. This award series will honor corporations for their engagement and leadership in targeted efforts to significantly impact cancer’s effect in the workplace, contributions to support the American Cancer Society’s fight against the disease, and responsible community involvement – all in support of the Society’s vision of creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

The 2012 Corporate Impact Awards will be presented during the American Cancer Society Nationwide Leadership Summit on November 14, 2012 at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. There are four award categories are open for nomination and those categories are excellence in:

  1. tobacco control,
  2. cancer control,
  3. employee engagement, and
  4. employee. 

Companies and American Cancer Society staff members may submit nominations for any of the four open categories of the award series. The nomination criteria for all award categories are listed below in the Corporate Impact Award Series Criteria. A company can be nominated for multiple awards.
