Caesars Entertainment, Caesars Foundation and Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada to Honor Veteran’s Day

November 14, 2013 /3BL Media/ - On Nov. 9, Caesars Entertainment and the Caesars Foundation in collaboration with Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada honored Veteran’s Day by lending a hand to help rebuild and restore a Veteran residence, surrounding neighborhood and community park. The rebuild project included repairs and modifications to three homes that will improve energy efficiency, finances and safety. Affiliates and supporters also restored exterior properties to make the area more aesthetically enjoyable for the resident.

Caesars Foundation is a private foundation funded by a percentage of operating income from Caesars Entertainment’s resorts. The Foundation is the entity through which   Caesars Entertainment funds programs and projects of $10,000 or more, as well as not-for-profit giving requirements imposed by certain operating jurisdictions. Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada, (est., 1994) is the local nonprofit of the national organization that provides home repair and accessibility modification services for low-income southern Nevada homeowners, particularly,  the elderly, people living with disabilities, multigenerational families,  military veterans and families of active-duty military service members.   Services are provided free of charge to the service recipient.  For more information, visit www.rtsnv.org.
