(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Pittsburgh - March 2, 2011 - Greg Babe, President and CEO of Bayer Corporation and Bayer MaterialScience LLC, has been selected to receive the prestigious Vanguard Award from the Chemical Education Foundation (CEF).  The award honors the outstanding efforts of an individual who has exhibited leadership and commitment to fostering public awareness and understanding of the chemical industry.

Babe will receive the award at The Vanguard Award Dinner and Ceremony on May 2, 2011, at the Westin Washington D.C. City Center.
