Recently, Antea Group presented the fourth annual EHSxTech conference, hosted by Adobe in the United Kingdom on Thursday, April 14. This exclusive event offered a unique opportunity for tech industry EHS professionals to explore regulatory updates from around the globe, talk through specific environmental, health and safety needs and challenges, and discuss leading industry trends in a friendly, noncompetitive forum.

Drawing from some of the most pressing EHS and sustainability challenges facing the tech industry today, this full-day event focused on “EHS Leadership in a Changing World.”

Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE: RSG) announced that industry pillar and one of the Company’s foundational leaders, Bill Meyer, has been inducted into the National Waste & Recycling Association’s (NWRA) Hall of Fame. He was honored earlier this week in Las Vegas at Waste Expo, North America’s largest annual industry tradeshow.

HPRC recently held our spring 2016 meeting, which was graciously hosted by Johnson & Johnson in New York City. The meeting was a valuable opportunity to focus in on the HPRC mission and our projects in flight, and to redouble our efforts to enact change in the industry.

KeyBank announced it will provide a total of $16.2MM to help develop 50 units of permanent supportive housing for veterans and homeless individuals at Devoe II Housing. Living options will be provided for individuals making at or below between 30 and 50 percent of the area median income. The $16.2MM total is comprised of a $6.9MM construction loan and a $9.3MM equity investment. Aubre Dickson and Jennifer Seamons of Key’s Community Development Lending & Investing (CDLI) team arranged the financing.
