ACE Cash Express Employee Named Dallas Junior Achievement’s Volunteer of the Year

Eloy Gonzalez, Senior Data Analyst at ACE, was joined by more than 500 guests and other honorees at the JA Dallas Hall of Fame banquet at the Dallas Omni Hotel last month.
“I cannot think of anyone more deserving for the award. His passion and dedication to Junior Achievement is unparalleled,” said ACE CEO, Jay Shipowitz.
Eloy has been with ACE for 12 years and has been a Junior Achievement volunteer since ACE first became involved with JA in 2006. Twice a year ACE associates spend a day teaching lessons on financial literacy, business and entrepreneurship at Townsell Elementary School in Irving, TX.
“We are pleased to be able to honor him,” said JA Senior Vice President of Operations, Sandi Smith. “Eloy was chosen because of his commitment to JA programs in Irving. He has been a JA in a Day volunteer since 2006, and generally participates in both the spring and fall events. He has taught every JA elementary curriculum at one time or another.”
Eloy’s interest in JA initially stemmed from the high value he places on education, impressed upon him by his parents who are both teachers. He has since dedicated much of his time and energy to this non-profit organization.
