The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) and Scotiabank announced today that they are partnering to build on the incredible success of the "Talk With Our Kids About Money Day" (TWOKAM) program.

Students Rachana Halasabele and Alessia Xu from The University of Manchester in the UK recently triumphed with their innovative and practical winning solution to a real-life industry problem set by Cargill’s ethanol experts at their starches and sweeteners plant in Trafford Park, Manchester. The UK-wide competition, open to all Universities, is the first of its kind for Cargill in the UK and awarded the winning second year students with a cash bursary of £1,200.

Partnering with Engineers Without Borders to provide educational opportunities

Creating a sustainable source of income for an indigenous community in Brazil

Tetra Tech partnered with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) to help build a high school in Lumwana West, Zambia. Through the EWB Mid-Columbia Professionals (EWB-MCP) chapter in Washington state, Tetra Tech employees Lisa Dukes and Brian Peters are involved directly in helping complete the project. Lisa is a chapter member, and Brian is chapter Treasurer.
