By joining this innovative campaign, SmartPower is showing its leadership in promoting the use of renewable energy for individuals and organizations nationwide as a way to reduce the environmental impact of their electricity use.

At www.buycleanenergy.org users are given tools to find out how much electricity they use now, find local utility green-power programs through a one-of-a-kind zip code lookup feature, buy renewable energy certificates (RECs) through a unique "Buy Now" button, and return to the site to share personal testimonials about why they purchased clean energy. Users can also add their purchases to the site’s year-long goal of 1 billion unique kilowatt-hours purchased through the campaign.
