On December 1, 2011, SAI Corporate Program Member, Rosy Blue, released its third CSR report. Rosy Blue's "Report to Society" highlights its performance across operations and shared progress in five main areas: Respect for Human Rights, Working Conditions, Product Integrity, Community Empowerment and Environment.

Rosy Blue highlights its partnership with SAI, and its use of the Social Fingerprint program to improve social compliance at both the company and factory level. It zooms in on two factories, in Thailand and China, and illustrates how they use Social Fingerprint® to go beyond the minimum to ensure decent labor practices. "Since we became a member in early 2011, it has accelerated our learning, and strengthened our social compliance system throughout our supply chain. SAI's Social Fingerprint® program has greatly helped us to identify, assess and map out key steps for our suppliers to take in order to improve its social performance."     SAI's Social Fingerprint® program is offered to all Corporate Program members, across all industries. As reported in the November 2011 newsletter, the newly enhanced program enables members with greater access to SAI's sophisticated supply chain management training- including Social Fingerprint®- multi-stakeholder input, and the ability to confidentially benchmark their programs against other members.     In addition, Rosy Blue NV and its affiliates and associates have achieved Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certification, meeting the ethical, human rights, social and environmental standards as established by the RJC's Member Certification System. Rosy Blue is a founding member of the Council, and this certification is inclusive of its 28 legal entities across 13 countries.      "We view sustainability as both a responsibility and an opportunity," said Amit Bhansali, Managing Director of Rosy Blue NV and member of the Rosy Blue Brand Council. "Being a founding member of the RJC and our participation in Global Compact LEAD demonstrate that Rosy Blue is at the forefront of this drive to maintain confidence in the integrity of the diamond supply chain. We will continue to set ambitious new targets to reconcile economic growth with environmental and social responsibilities."   View Rosy Blue's 2011 CSR Report.
