Paving the way for economic development

Sanofi Pasteur executive Phil Hosbach volunteers his time and expertise toward responsible economic development in the Poconos.

As a Monroe County business executive and local resident, Phil has a passion for this cause. As such, he was chosen by the Monroe County Commissioners to serve on a committee forwarding local economic development.

Additionally, Phil moderated the “Leading Change…Thinking Outside the Box” panel discussion at the recent East Stroudsburg University Economic Outlook Summit.

Speaking directly to the purpose of the Summit, Phil said, “We know tourism and education are key economic drivers here. The question is: Can Monroe County be a great place, not just to visit or get an education, but also to live and to work? This Summit points to the need for us all to take a role in looking at those things from a new perspective.”
