“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
- Mahatma Gandhi

From park cleanups to Habitat for Humanity builds, from food drives to blood drives, NetSuite employees are committed to making a positive impact in their communities.

NetSuite’s first annual Global Impact Week, which takes place next week, October 5-9, will be a chance to celebrate the ways that NetSuite employees give back locally through volunteer service and in-office donation drives.

During this week-long event, NetSuite employees will have the opportunity to participate in dozens of company-sponsored events around the globe – from teaching local kids to code in Waterloo, Canada to preparing and packing lunches at Willing Hearts Soup Kitchen in Singapore. Each of the events is being planned and executed by a team of NetSuite employees in each office.

“With 25 offices and more than 4,600 employees, we have the potential to have an incredible impact in the communities where we live and work,” said Erin Dieterich, Corporate Citizenship Director for NetSuite.org. “More importantly though, since this is an employee-driven initiative, this week will hopefully serve to inspire our employees and show them the myriad ways they can utilize their benefit of 16 hours of paid time off to volunteer in their communities.”

Global Impact Week is a spin-off of NetSuite’s SuiteImpact program, which engages NetSuite employees around the world in causes and year-round community service projects that matter to them. Since its founding in 2013, more than 3,200 NetSuite employees have volunteered, volunteering for more than 12,000 hours.

Through NetSuite.org, NetSuite’s corporate citizenship arm, employees receive 16 hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO). VTO can be used to participate in activities planned by local NetSuite employees or with an organization of the employee’s choosing.
