September 3, 2019 - Albemarle is proud to announce the release of its 2019 Sustainability Report on 2018 activities. The report describes numerous efforts and initiatives that demonstrate their increasingly expanding commitment to sustainability.

By executing their corporate strategy in a manner consistent with a commitment to safe operations and their values, Albemarle seeks to maximize the positive impact that it has on its communities, employees, shareholders, suppliers and customers.

The report describes how they align their actions and values to support the creation of safe and sustainable solutions that power the potential of their customers and stakeholders across the globe. Highlights of the report focus on:

  • Culture. Through efforts like the launch the company’s first-ever global culture survey, Albemarle has inspired open communication and honest dialogue between employees, managers and company leaders.  
  • Safety. The company offers a transparent reflection on safety results, and shares strategies for enhanced performance moving forward.
  • Diversity. The report describes “Connect” the company’s very first, multi-day women’s conference designed to inspire networking, collaboration and the exchange of learning between diverse groups of women.
  • Philanthropy. Examples detail what it means to “Grow the Good” while also communicating the importance of an ongoing partnership between global employees and The Albemarle Foundation.
