HACR Announces Sylvia Pérez Cash as Senior Vice President of Operations

Long-time nonprofit executive will assume operational duties January 2021

WASHINGTON, December 17, 2020 /3BL Media/ - The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) announces that Sylvia Pérez Cash will join the organization as senior vice president of operations, starting on January 4, 2021. Cash has over 15 years in nonprofit management, most recently as vice president of strategic programs and knowledge for United Way of Greater Cleveland, one of the largest chapters in the country.  

In her role as SVP of operations, Cash will guide HACR’s programming and work with the CEO to create strategies that advance HACR’s mission. She will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of HACR’s operational processes and policies, including management of the programs, research, and human resources departments. She will also facilitate collaboration between programs and communications.

Prior to her role at United Way, Cash held executive leadership positions at the Cleveland Foundation, the largest grantmaking organization in Ohio, including chief of staff and vice president of governance and international affairs. She also been a board member of numerous organizations, most recently for Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, the Cleveland School of Science and Medicine, and Esperanza, Inc.  

Cash holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and sociology from Columbia University and a master of public administration from Baruch College, City University of New York. She was a National Urban Fellow and Atlas Service Corps Fellow in Cleveland, OH, and Bogotá, Colombia, respectively. She is a member of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc.
