Symantec has a long and proud history of encouraging our employees to volunteer. Volunteering makes our company a better place to work, so employees are helping both Symantec and the organizations they volunteer for. Every quarter we feature employees across the world standing out for their dedication to giving back.

What does stand out volunteering look like? In this article we highlight Symantec Volunteer of the Quarter Nick Coates, Principal ITSM Solutions Engineer, Production Engineering, in our Reading UK office. Nick channeled his enthusiasm and passion for giving back as a youth to become recognized by UK Royalty for his numerous community efforts. From supporting the scouts to growing and expanding an outdoor classroom to mentoring students in STEM and cybersecurity, hear how Nick is impacting lives, including his own, through volunteering.
