CASE IH, Promoting the Role of Women in the Field

Case IH, a global agricultural equipment brand of CNH Industrial, held a “Women in Agriculture” event in partnership with RGS Agricola, a local Case IH dealer, to discuss the importance of women’s role in the agribusiness, at the beginning of August in Pedro Osório, Rio Grande do Sul state, southern Brazil.

The number of women working in agriculture today is on the increase. They are highly valued and many occupy leadership roles where they are fundamental to the growth and development of the sector. Case IH recognizes the importance of promoting initiatives such this “Women in Agriculture” event to provide a platform to women working in the industry where they can share knowledge, experiences and skills.

Discussions at the well- attended event centered on empowering women in the agribusiness, the role of women in the field and the challenges they face. The participants were given a hands-on demonstration of the tractors and sprayers of the Case IH Brand.
