In this short film, Corporate Citizenship explores how the relationship between business and society is becoming more complex. As companies are being asked tougher questions about their impacts, the importance of mapping, measuring and taking action on issues across the value chain has never been more important. Diageo and Civicus share insights into how organisations can use a better understanding of their economic, social and environmental impacts to focus their efforts and drive change where it matters most.

The video has been released as part of a new report by Corporate Citizenship which revealed that just one in five companies believes that external stakeholders have a good understanding of their impacts on the world. This lack of understanding is creating an ‘impact knowledge gap’ which is preventing companies from taking action. The report, Impact for Change: Better Business for a Better World, outlines how any corporation can map, measure and take action on their most important touchpoints with society.
