BJ's Kicks Off Community Kids' Toy Drive

Dec 3, 2015 11:30 AM ET

BJ's Wholesale Club is once again running its Community Kids’ Toy Drive, an annual initiative to collect toys in its 211 Clubs, distribution centers and home office. Through Sunday, December 13, each BJ's location partners with a local nonprofit organization that will receive and redistribute toys to children in the surrounding community.

How it works:
At every BJ’s Club, a Toy Drive Tree and a collection box is on display. BJ's Team Members and Members can pick any tag off the tree and purchase the corresponding gift. Then, drop off the toy in the collection box!

Shoppers are encouraged to take a picture of their donated toys or tags and use the hashtag #BJsToyDrive on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram). At the end of each week, BJ’s will randomly select a photo and donate $1,000 to the Member's local Club’s Toy Drive partner.

Last year, BJ’s Members and Team Members donated more than 22,000 toys. To learn more, download the Community Kids’ Toy Drive PDF from BJ’s 2014 CSR Report Values in Action.

Happy Holidays!
