Whether in life or in business, the gap between awareness and action is often the biggest challenge in the implementation of any change.  In terms of business sustainability progress, the action step represents the single largest opportunity.  How do we translate the enormity of accelerated global eco awareness into true impactful business action? 

According to the latest figures, over half of all business leaders place sustainability as a business priority, yet only a small portion actually have an actionable business sustainability plan in place.  This gap represents real and quantifiable competitive advantage for those ready to move.    The hardest step really is the first one!  So where to begin?   Answer One: Shift the traditional executive view of business sustainability as a ‘Project’, with added cost requiring additional resources.
