(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) May 11, 2011 - This year's Renewable Energy Markets (REM) conference in San Francisco is the one conference you won't want to miss, whether you're new to the industry or a renewable energy veteran. Here are a few reasons why this REM is not to be missed:

1. REM is the only conference of its kind aimed exclusively at environmental markets in the U.S. From renewable energy and clean energy-derived carbon offset products, to project financing and state compliance markets, REM's panels and discussions focus on where industry growth is happening. And this year's program features discussions on international markets, emerging renewable energy markets including electric vehicles, green buildings, and community voluntary renewable energy programs. See the agenda from REM 2010.

2. REM gets you noticed. Don't miss the opportunity to get your organization in front of REM's 400+ attendees by becoming an exhibitor and sponsor. The exhibition floor is better than ever this year, and located in a spacious meeting area where sessions and panels adjourn. Megawatt Sponsorship and above includes exhibit space, as well as exposure on all conference communications and materials. See Become a Sponsor and Become an Exhibitor.

3. San Francisco, here we come. This year's conference is located in (nearly) everyone's favorite city, and just when the chill has started to set in in less-sunny climes, San Francisco is in its best season of the year. A cable car begins from our hotel and runs through downtown and North Beach to end at the famed Wharf. We're also on a transit stop that can take you to our city's best neighborhoods. The conference is over on Friday, but remember—flights are cheaper if you stay through Saturday.

About Renewable Energy Markets 2011
For nearly two decades, Renewable Energy Markets has defined and expanded marketplace opportunities for clean power. Bridging the interests of renewable energy generators, marketers, and utilities with those of purchasers, policymakers, and the communities that benefit from clean energy, REM is the nation's premier forum for the energy community to gather, learn from each other, and recognize best practices for promoting renewable energy. It is organized by Center for Resource Solutions and co-sponsored by the Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
