Beyond Capitalism
The Nov/Dec 2009 issue of the innovative journal "Tikkun" featured an article entitled, "Roadmap to a New Economics: Beyond Capitalism and Socialism" by the wonderful thought leader and social scientist, Riane Eisler. "Our challenge is to create the social conditions that support the realization of our enormous human capacity for consciousness, creativity, empathy, and caring," says Eisler.

Banking is Based on Trust
The champion of middle class America, Elizabeth Warren, Chairwoman of the TARP Congressional Oversight Panel (COP) has pretty strong views on the necessity of a Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA). The CFPA, currently debated in the Senate with the "Restoring American Financial Stability Act", would oversee financial products hawked to the nation's consumers - like a Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for the financial markets.

Business and Spirituality
Patricia Aburdene is one of the world's leaders on the 21st century transformation of socially conscious business. "Spirituality in business sounds lofty. How practical is it? The answer is 'very.' There's a fundamental way in which Spirit and consciousness contribute to worldly success-and it has long been ignored," writes Aburdene.
