Solutions by VolunteerMatch Clients Continue to Shine in The Civic 50
The Civic 50 describes itself as “an initiative to identify the 50 most community-minded companies in the nation.” But what does the term “community-minded” mean?
For starters, it means creating real social impact, instead of analyzing empty metrics and producing ineffectual PR campaigns. It means having institutional policies in place that support corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and integrating those CSR efforts seamlessly within the company’s overall business objectives. Lastly, it means a substantial investment of time, money, and leadership, funneled into measurable community and employee engagement.
In other words: Impact, Institutionalization, Integration, and Investment. These are the four dimensions The Civic 50 looks at when determining who makes the list.
