BENTON HARBOR - With dozens of empty cardboard boxes in the corner of the warehouse, Gail Nuechterlein had one thing in mind.

How can she help?

Nuechterlein was among the 40 volunteers Thursday who spent a couple hours at the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency's warehouse in downtown Benton Harbor.
