It's Platinum again for Pearson in the 2013 Business in the Community Corporate Responsibility (CR) Index.

The index is a leading voluntary benchmark on corporate responsibility - 126 organisations participated this year, with Platinum being the highest possible ranking.

The CR Index has been a mainstay of the world of voluntary benchmarking on corporate responsibility for over a decade now.

New for 2013 is the Platinum Big Tick – extra recognition awarded based on long-term sustainability strategy and corporate governance, assessed through a series of additional optional extra credit questions. We are proud to be one of only four companies to have both participated since launch and to have been awarded a Big Tick.
