Company ranked the No. 2 most admired company in the pharmaceutical industry
Merck was named one of the 'World’s Most Admired Companies' by Fortune magazine. The publication released its annual list, ranking Merck among its ‘All-Star’ companies — moving up 12 spots on the list from 2020. The company was also ranked the No. 2 most admired company in the pharmaceutical industry.
To compile the rankings, corporate reputation and performance are measured against nine key attributes: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
