Kenneth Cole to Participate In #GivingTuesday, Encouraging Customers and Employee’s to “Be AWEAR”

New York, November 20, 2013 /3BL Media/ - In the spirit of #GivingTuesday (12/03/13), a day dedicated to charitable giving, fashion designer and social activist Kenneth Cole highlights six of the newest AWEARNESS bracelets to encourage and inspire individuals to get involved and make a difference. Available at and select Kenneth Cole retail and outlet stores, 100% of the net profits from the sale of the bracelets will be donated to AWEARNESS, the Kenneth Cole Foundation.

Additionally, on #GivingTuesday, Kenneth Cole employees will be kick off their annual HELP USA Toy Drive to collect toys and funds to benefit children living in NYC homeless shelters.

As a founding board member of HELP USA, the nation’s leading non profit developer of housing and services for homeless and low income individuals, Kenneth Cole actively sponsors, hosts and promotes homeless-related events to raise awareness about the homeless population in the United States.

Launched in 2012, #GivingTuesday which follows the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, kicks off the holiday giving season with global day dedicated to charitable giving, harnessing the power of social media and the generosity of individuals around the world to bring about real change in their own communities.
