JustGreen Participates in the 5th Annual South East Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit

JustGreen was proud to be among the many sponsors and participants of this year’s South East Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit. JustGreen helped make the event carbon neutral by donating carbon offsets from emission reduction projects in Florida.

The South East Florida Regional Climate Compact was formalized following the 2009 Southeast Florida Climate Leadership Summit, when elected officials came together to discuss challenges and strategies for responding to the impacts of climate change. The Compact outlines an on-going collaborative effort among the Compact Counties to foster sustainability and climate resilience at a regional scale.

More than 300 officials in South Florida — from scientists to elected officials — attended this year’s regional climate summit held in Broward County, Florida.
