Las Vegas Sands hosts Green Meetings and Events of all shapes and sizes from extravagant runway shows to large-scale business conferences, aiming to infuse even the most luxurious events with sustainability. Some of the most notable ECO360 meeting milestones are detailed in their newest video and highlights are captured below.

Schneider Electric Innovation Summit

Marina Bay Sands hosted one of the largest and most sustainable conferences of the year attracting more than 3,200 world-leading entrepreneurs, executives, and industry representatives. In addition to a LEED and GreenMark certified venue, which uses building management technology to conserve more than 11 million kilowatt hours of energy each year, attendees dined on curated sustainable cuisine. The Earth-friendly menu featured organic produce, third-party certified sustainable seafood, organic beef, sustainable rice, and triple-certified Fair Trade, organic, and migratory bird-friendly coffee.

Haute Cuisine Under the Stars

At the annual Haute Cuisine soiree, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas celebrated the culinary arts sustainably, focusing on plastics reduction, waste minimization, and sustainable food.  Maîtres Cuisiniers de France prepared delectable vegan, vegetarian, and other tapas-style small plates for guests to enjoy. Dinnerware was made of sustainable bamboo, while the wine glasses from the event were given as take-home favors. Eco-decor, including a sparkling reclaimed chandelier and a living green wall, created a relaxed and luxurious ambience.

Sustainability Meets the Runway

The Sands Macao Fashion Week featured luxury eco designs on the runway and sustainability behind the scenes. The venue recently received the prestigious Macao Green Hotel Platinum Award for its advancement in innovative building design and energy conservation. On stage, local designers showcased apparel made of vegetable fibers, recycled polyester, and eco-friendly materials.
