SEATTLE, Wash., March 6, 2015 /3BL Media/ — The Port of San Diego in California, Holland America Line hosted a volunteer appreciation luncheon aboard ms Veendam for MANA de San Diego, one of the company’s community partners.

Following the luncheon, guests had an opportunity to watch DanzArts perform several flamenco pieces as well as hear highlights from MANA de San Diego's past year. The event celebrated 400 volunteers who donated more than 6,000 hours to the organization. Highlights from 2014 included granting $30,000 in scholarships and serving more than 1,300 women and families in San Diego County.  Then guests were invited to tour the ship before disembarking.
