Helping to Restore the Shore…One T-Shirt at a Time

Drew Chabot, a department supervisor at the Toms River store, was recognized by the White House last week for spearheading a funding campaign for those affected by Superstorm Sandy. Drew himself was displaced from his home due to flooding from the storm, but that didn’t slow him down. Drew worked with Blue Wave Printing owners to help print and sell “Restore the Shore” t-shirts and sweatshirts, raising more than $500,000 for nonprofit organizations helping with disaster relief. He was one of 17 individuals honored as Sandy “Champions of Change” at the White House on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
