Just in time for the start of school, the Smart Girls Group relaunches a new website with the support of a Kenneth Cole AWEARNESS grant. Their message? Every girl needs the confidence to believe in her brains.

A Group Where Every Girl Is A Smart Girl
On April 13, 2013 during Shift Series, the annual conference of The Compass Fellowship in Washington, DC, AWEARNESS, The Kenneth Cole Foundation and Compass Partners awarded Emily Raleigh of the Smart Girls Group a $5,000 grant. With the support of the grant, Emily relaunched The Smart Girls Group, offering a new campus chapter program fit for every student, online classes, a shop with merchandise that sponsors girls’ education in the developing world, a book club, various service opportunities, and a full fledge online community, exclusively for Smart Girl Sisters.
