Groundbreaking Data On The Impact C40 Cities Are Having On Climate Change

Mike Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and President of the Board of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40), recently released the the latest editiion of the Climate Action in Megacities Report (CAM 2.0). C40 is a 66 member global network of cities taking actions - like implementing bus rapid transit systems, improving waste management systems, and implementing energy efficienct building codes - to reduce green house emissions and increase urban resiliiency in relation to the impacts of climate change.  The latest edition of this groundbreaking report provides evidence of the importance of role cities in helping tackle the issues related to climate change.  In the forward to the report Bloomberg writes that, "cities have the power, the expertise, the political will and the resourcefulness to continue to take meaningful climate action, and are, more than ever before, at the forefront of the issue of climate change, as leaders, innovators and practitioners."
