Common Impact Celebrates Tenure of Danielle Holly as She Announces Plans to Ste…

NEW YORK, January 18, 2022 /3BL Media/ - Common Impact, the nonprofit pioneer in skills-based volunteerism, today announced that Danielle Holly will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 18.

Holly’s departure comes after a ten-year stint as CEO and nearly 15 years of cumulative service with Common Impact. During her tenure, Common Impact has grown into a nationally recognized leader in corporate skills-based volunteerism and employee engagement.

“Common Impact is at an incredibly exciting moment in its growth. It has a strong team, an impressive and engaged board, and a roster of clients that represent some of the world’s largest and most influential businesses, all of which are all dedicated to the organization’s mission of alleviating inequality through strategic volunteerism,” said Holly. “I am honored and grateful to have been in a role where I can feel – everyday – the contribution that I’m making to a more sustainable future for our society, our neighborhoods, and our families. Common Impact’s next leader will be taking the reins of a growing, effective, and impactful organization.”

Among her many accomplishments, Holly successfully guided Common Impact through the challenges of the global pandemic of the past two years, during which the organization has continued to thrive and has launched new skills-based volunteering models in response to the changing landscape of ESG and a significantly impacted volunteer workforce.

More broadly, during her tenure, Holly also played a major role in recruiting and cultivating a strong leadership team with decades of pro bono, volunteerism, and sector experience, and maintained a strong relationship with a powerful and diverse board of cross-sector leaders.

“We would like to thank Danielle for her tireless dedication, steadfast leadership, and deep commitment to Common Impact over the past decade-plus, especially during these challenging years of the Covid-19 pandemic. We have been fortunate to have had Danielle’s guidance to help Common Impact grow to where we are today, while never losing sight of our mission of creating a more connected and equitable society,” added Common Impact Board Chair Allen Carney. “While replacing someone of Danielle’s caliber is never easy, we look forward to identifying the leader who will build upon on Common Impact’s legacy to this point.”

Common Impact’s Board of Directors has engaged Koya Partners/Diversified Search Group to lead our CEO search, which will launch in the coming weeks.

“Common Impact is an organization on the rise, working with leading companies and high-impact nonprofits across the country to solve the most pressing community challenges,” added Carney. “We look forward to meeting with candidates with plans and ideas for steering Common Impact through the next stage of its continued growth.”
