Case IH and New Holland, global agricultural brands of CNH Industrial, have thrown their support behind a major national fundraiser to aid the recovery efforts in flood-devastated northern NSW and south-east Queensland communities. In a historic first, the Seven, Nine and Ten Networks joined forces with the Red Cross to support Australians impacted by the worst floods in Australia’s recorded history, with the three networks airing a Telethon appeal.

CNH Industrial brands Case IH and New Holland are contributing $25,000 each to the appeal, in an effort to assist those dealerships and customers in the flood-affected regions.

“We’ve all been shocked and saddened by the devastation in these regions and our hearts go out to those who have lost so much and are facing such difficult times ahead,” said Brandon Stannett, Country Manager, CNH Industrial Australia and New Zealand.

“Of course, farmers across these areas have recorded enormous losses, and for our Case IH and New Holland customers, the donations to this Red Cross appeal are a small way for us to offer some assistance and acknowledge what they have been through.”

Case IH Australia/New Zealand General Manager Pete McCann said the Case IH dealerships in these regions were doing everything they could to assist. “Our Case IH dealerships are continuing to service their customers and are doing what they can to help get their communities back on their feet, and we are working with them to deliver additional assistance where possible,” he said.

New Holland Agriculture Australia/New Zealand General Manager Bruce Healy said he was proud of the efforts of dealership staff and New Holland employees in these areas. “Some have had a tough and stressful time themselves, but they’re determined to be there for their customers, many of whom have experienced unimaginable losses,” he said.

The recent Telethon appeal was simulcast nationally (metro and regional) across 7, 9 and 10 mainstream linear channels as well as 7Plus, 9Now and 10 Play. All proceeds will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Flood Appeal.
