Chrysler Group LLC Offers Programs for Hurricane Victims and U.S. Military Members

AUBURN HILLS Mich., Nov. 8, 2012 /3BL Media/ – Chrysler Group LLC recently announced two special programs, one to help victims who lost their vehicles in the hurricane on the East Coast, another that expands its existing military incentives program.

The disaster relief Bonus Cash program runs through Jan. 2, 2013 and is designed for hurricane victims who lost their vehicle in those counties recognized by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as disaster areas.  Residents of the designated counties will be required to provide proof of an insurance claim indicating damage from the recent severe weather conditions in order to be eligible for the Bonus Cash offer.

This Bonus Cash offer is available to eligible customers residing in the following states and counties:

  • New Jersey: Atlantic, Bergen, Cape May, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union
  • New York: Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, and Suffolk
  • Connecticut: Fairfield, Mashantucket Pequot Indian Reservation, Middlesex, New Haven, and New London

The second program is designed for currently inactive military reserve and all veterans that were honorably discharged. (Retired military that were honorably discharged and have 20 years of service in the military are not eligible for this additional offer). This “Veterans Day Military Appreciation Bonus Cash” program runs through Nov. 17, 2012.

Each program offers eligible consumers a $500 cash allowance toward the retail purchase or lease of a new, eligible 2012 or 2013 model year Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram Truck, or FIAT brand vehicle. See dealer for program details and a list of eligible models.

Chrysler Group also has a $500 Military Consumer Cash program in place which was introduced in 2010 and runs through Jan. 2, 2013 designed for “active military, active military reserve, retired military (honorable discharge and 20 years of service required), and retired military reserve (honorable discharge and 20 years of service required).
